About
180 the Store, founded by Denise Williamson is a retail and event space showcasing brands, designers, and beautifully-crafted objects under one roof. 180 the Store changes its presentation on a rotating basis similar to an art gallery, offering the customer an ever-changing, shopping experience.
After years of launching and developing designers and brands through her PR agency and showroom, Williamson felt there was a need to create a space where designers and companies can bring their visions to life. To date, 180 the Store has hosted residencies with well-known brands such as Japanese labels Kapital, Visvim, and Chimala, to brands with cult followings such as BrandBlack, Frama, Comme Des Garcons, and industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. In addition to fashion, 180 the Store carries B&B Italia and Herman Miller furniture, artisanal home furnishings by Curious Corner indigo pillows and tapestries, pottery by Samuel Johnson, and lifestyle items such as Hachi by Daikei cookware and room fragrances from Aoiro Airdesign.
180 the Store, situated in an open airy 5,000 sq foot former dairy distribution warehouse with original wood floors dating back to 1860 and expansive skylight is located in TriBeCa, New York.
