OTZI DESIGN MOCHI EASY CHAIR
The Mochi easy chair draws on traditional and varied types of leatherwork to create a deceptively simple, truly versatile piece suitable to almost any room. Used in a pair or as a standalone, it offers a welcoming and comfortable accent to a master bedroom, lounge or hall. Upholstered in heavyweight linen, whole shoulders of vegetable-tanned, Tuscan leather or cosy shearling, large panels of material offset the Mochi’s exposed, timber frame. Woven leather cord offers comfortable support to the upholstery, wrapped whole around the interior to achieve the seamless appearance that gives the Mochi its quiet elegance. Heavy straps on the backrest anchor the cushion to its solid wooden frame, giving the piece a contemporary feel even as they draw on the tradition of the early 20th century.
